About
A tiny Pacific Northwest powerhouse of experimental music, Highfives and Handshakes releases records and singles from passionate musical artists. We encourage artists to take responsibilities into their own hands and share them with us as we provide booking, promotion, marketing, management, and art direction in-house. Regularly produce live events at art spaces, underground and unconventional spaces in Seattle. We’d love to connect you with someone who can help, and it may just be us!
Demo Submission Policy
We do accept unsolicited demos, though due to our volume of responsibility we may not get back to you immediately or ever. Please do not send attachments. Links to MySpaces, Last.fm or other online streaming sites are best. If you would like to mail us something special, please ask for the proper address.
Interning
If you live in Seattle and are interested in volunteering some of your time or committing to an internship, please send a letter of interest detailing past experience and strengths, what draws you to Highfives and Handshakes and how you would be interested in helping.
